Strengthening OWASP-Aligned & Network Penetration Testing Services

CypSec today announces a strategic partnership with Cothema, a Czech firm that delivers technical audits, penetration testing, and cyber-security training. Under this collaboration, CypSec and Cothema will jointly offer enhanced penetration testing services aligned with OWASP standards, as well as comprehensive network penetration testing for enterprise customers.

Cothema brings to the partnership strong domain expertise in application security, technical audits of software, web applications and internal systems, and employee training in IT security. Combining CypSec's SaaS-platform capabilities in risk management, asset visibility, secure communications, and active defense with Cothema's deep hands-on technical services aims to deliver more rigorous threat discovery, clear remediation guidance, and better alignment with international security best practices.

The joint services will include OWASP Top 10 compliance checks, ASVS (Application Security Verification Standard)-based application testing, external and internal network penetration testing, and risk rating with remediation plans. In addition, customers may benefit from combined insights in threat modeling and secure design reviews to harden infrastructure before deployment.

CypSec and Cothema intend to roll out these co-branded offerings starting in Q4 2025. Existing CypSec clients will be offered early access to the combined service packages. Future enhancements might include automated tool-integration for continuous pentesting, tracking dashboards, and support for compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR, and other regional / industry-specific standards.
